Yes, I’m still getting up earlier!! I think this habit might stick. I love having a little extra time and being able to ease into my morning instead of being thrown into it. I will not mark this off my list yet though. I have to prove to myself that this will become a routine.



I have been working on this 2 years ago

I’m now getting up 18 minutes earlier. Every week I tweek the clock and get up a few minutes earlier than the week before. Thus the 18 minutes. I’ve been doing this ever since Jan 2nd. so hopefully I’ll be able to stick with it. I can already see a difference, the morning is not quite as rushed. I also managed to eat a quick Nutri-Grain bar for breakfast!

about said sleeping problem. He thinks it’s anxiety!(Me Anxious??!!) Anyway, he’s probably right. So he gave me this med, to help me get to sleep. It really works great. I get a good night’s sleep and I fall asleep within 30 minutes of laying down. The only problem is the med makes me very groggy in the morning. I’m having a harder time waking up now than I was before. I don’t know if this goal will ever come to fruition. I’m leaving it up here on the off chance that something changes and I finally get up earlier. I hear that once you get old, you get up early every morning. Maybe in another 40 years I can check this off my list. Ha Ha Ha.

the tubes fast!! I can’t sleep at night and then I want to sleep in during the morning. I go to the Dr’s next week to see if they can figure out why I have such bad insomnia. Until I can go to sleep at a decent time, this goal is toast. I’m officially putting it on hold.



1 Week 3 years ago

Today is my one week mark. I’ve been getting up 5 min. early every morning. It has made getting to work on time a little less stressful. Starting Monday, I’ll be getting up 10 minutes early. Hopefully before long I’ll be up early enough to eat a good breakfast, get myself ready without rushing and be able to get in a little treadmill time!! Okay, I shouldn’t push my luck that far!!

Today I got up 5 minutes early!! I know that it’s not much, but it is progress. Those five extra minutes didn’t allow me to do anything extra-special. I just didn’t have to hurry as much going to work. I think I’ll get up another 5 minutes earlier on Monday. Wow, 10 extra minutes!! What will I do with myself.



Not a Morning Person 3 years ago

I would love to wake up early each morning. Start the day with a yoga or pilates session and eat a healthy breakfast. Only problem is I’m so tired in the morning I can hardly get out of bed let alone accomplish anything. I’m going to work on this goal, starting tomorrow morning. Even if it’s 5 minutes at a time I know I can do this!!
