Work on my secret project

...I mentioned three projects: two are on hold, and the other is now in its second phase where I’m no longer so involved with it. So I’m marking this as done. I actually have plenty of other secret projects on the go, anyway! One of which should be revealed in the near future…

I actually currently have (at least) three secret projects. One of them is still the original one I meant here, although work is somewhat stalled on it at the moment; the second is related to my top secret notebook and the third is related to this goal, where work was progressing well until this week, when the second secret project decided to dominate.

Just in case you were wondering.

It has a proper name and everything now.

Terrierhead, with her Aztec gods suggestion. Runner-up is Dana for cheeses (I’ll use this on another secret project). Runner-runner-up is the superbly strange Dragonfly, for making me laugh.

And yes, I forgot to do this yesterday.

I like to have names for the projects I’m working on, and as yet I haven’t found the final name for my project (I know the one I want, but I’m not sure I can get it, so will keep searching).

In the meantime, I need something to codename the various stages of the project (Milestone 1, 2, 3, ad nauseum are just so dull). I guess using My Little Ponies is out; at my first company we named all the computers after Pokemon; my current set computers are named after dogs from comic strips (I’m writing this on Spike, Snoopy’s cousin from Needles), so I don’t really want to reuse those. I was thinking about just using chemical elements, but that seems a little uninspired.

So, I turn to the wondrous 43 Things community in search of better suggestions. The only requirements are that the list of names is relatively long, and that they names are non-offensive (I know, I know).

In return, I shall somehow involve/incorporate you in the secret project (that goes for all suggestors, not just the person whose suggestion I select).

One person here has a clue though… and I just left another clue somewhere else.

I wonder if the Robots would object to me offering invites to it via 43T when that stage is reached?
