I have a notebook which I have begun to occasionally write things in, like a diary [but I don’t like that word], and I really like doing it. It’s more personal than an online journal, and I can be more honest and not have to worry about others reading what I have to say.
I always thought keeping something like this was a bit egotistical, but after giving in to the trend, I admit it made me feel a lot less confined. The only problem is I always assume I’ll write at night, before I go to bed. I’ve been staying up late, however, and when I start to write I just don’t have the energy to do anything very thoughtful.
So. I’d like to change that amount of entries, and the length [if not content], so I can have less things clustered in my mind and more room to actually enjoy the present instead of worrying about the past and future.
