My friend and I got off our duffs and went to a class. Ended up in the wrong class. Did it anyway. Almost died – three massages and two chiro visits later, I’m at about 97%. Not sure how my friend feels this week, but last week was rough.
So last thursday we did a Yin class. Very good. Very, very, very good.
This week, we’ll probably try something else. One thing’s for sure; I’m loving every minute of it (back breaking or not). :^)

My friend asked me if I wanted to start taking a class with her. I’ve been dying to take one for a long time, but find I lack the motivation needed to join up on my own for these things.
I feel it’s time to make a major shift in some my eating and (lack of) exercising habits. Both have been going down the tubes, and I’m so not impressed with myself. In fact, my self-esteem is lower than it’s been in a long time because of my in/actions.
I’m hoping this helps.

I finally found a place that’s close and sounds like what I want and need in yoga practice. The studio only offers Mysore yoga. I really like the sounds of this type. But I’m hoping I don’t get too stressed out over memorizing the poses.

I am taking a course right now with someone I hope to develop a friendship with; she is an amazing woman who owns her own (very successful) yoga studio.
I realised today that I want to create my own business ~ a combined day-retreat health spa that incorporates many different modalities, including yoga. When I write these words, I get a shock of chills that bolts through my body, and I can faintly hear tingling bells. I really feel this is my true calling.

I just read about Lee Ann Rimes studying yoga and how it’s reshaped her body…and the pictures don’t friggin’ lie!!!
I think it’s time I signed up. I found a different course at a more convenient location. I’m a little leery of city-run courses, but I still think it will at least give me a start, and it’s a little more affordable than the studio.

That a client of mine goes to; I’ve looked into it, and once I have a car to myself to drive, so I’m not relying on my parents coming out late to pick me up, then I’ll sign up.
I know it sounds like a lame-o attempt to get out of going, and I will admit that it is to some degree, but I also don’t want my parents out driving me to and from that late at night.
I promise, once I have a car….

...I just do. I was doing a search online for some relaxation music for my business today, specifically for East Indian themed music, and naturally I was given all kinds of yoga cds. Which got me to thinking – yoga is the sh*t.
I’ve never studied it beyond a few moves here and there, but I really think it would help me phsyically, spiritually, emotionally, and most of all professionally. I really feel a strong call to yoga.
Hmmm…just had a thought – perhaps instead of joining the gym again, I should look into yoga studios around the clinic. Might be more economical than the $700/year for the gym. Hmmmmmm…....
