Finish my home improvements

Last night I tore down a free standing wall. I’m really happy with the results despite dropping the wall and injuring myself slightly.
The wall is gone. I can focus on other areas in my loft and I’m happier.

As soon as I find a paint color that works…. or find out how to do the paint techique in this photo.

I don’t have much to finish in my place and with looking for a new home (more space, less neighbors) I thought that I should get things finished so I could sell my loft.
After a discussion on the ridiculous housing costs and loan amounts in Austin, I’ve decided to stop looking for a new home. If the housing market is falling, no one has told folks here.
I’m going to finishing painting (on my list of 43 things) and do some research on finding a handyman for baseboards etc.
I have a home and I’m grateful for it – I don’t have to have a bigger one.

Well, I’ve decided to start painting this week before I return to school. I know that if I don’t paint now I certainly won’t once I’m back in school and working.

I feel like I need to get things in order also because now I’m looking at selling my place. So I’m finally making a move to paint after a very long break.
