We went to the “pumpkin patch” we have in our neighborhood. Katie has been waiting for it to open again almost from the time it closed last November. It was a beautiful early fall day with loads of sunshine and pleasant temps and it was just so much fun to watch her in her element: crawling up hay bale pyramids, going into the “Tower of Terror,” seeing cute farm animals, going numerous, I mean numerous times on the glider ride, going on the hay ride, and just having fun with the other little kids. Sometimes wish I had one other child to keep her company but it will not be, I suppose. However, I am thankful that I have been blessed with her; she is my life.

Although I have been fortunate to be able to spend more time with my daughter than many other dads have the opportunity, I want to really focus on doing more quality and educational type activites with her. I want to have fun with her but hopefully she can learn something too while hanging out with her old man…
