clean the garage

My sister moved to another house, so we moved the shelving from the old house to new house. I acquired a few items too, which messed up my garage, but it will find a better place in my garage soon.

I’ve been doing a little research on furniture refinishers so that I can take some of the stuff in my garage to them. Then I can get that stuff out of the garage and into my house.

I decided that I wanted my mom’s refridgerator instead of my own old one. Hers is bigger and newer, but it doesn’t have an ice maker (it has the connections though.) So I had my refridgerator moved into the garage to make room for the new one from mom’s house.

Which meant I had to clean out an area for the fridge. I put it off until the last minute, but I got it done. I didn’t shift stuff around to make it fit and cram it all in. I actually tossed some things out!

My sister had some shelving she got from a friend. It’s not deep, so it won’t take up a lot of space in the garage. The shelves are adjustable so they can be altered to fit the different size boxes I might have. She came over and we installed it on both sides of the garage. It’s wonderful!

I have one section with a double width. It acts like a table and I use it for gardening items. I made several shelves very small to accomodate plates and platters. The bottom shelves have the ice chests, trunks and pots.
