I’ll be using my timer a lot in the next few days. After a while I begin to lose count of pomodoros, but it really helps to get me started.

... and I’m starting to feel like the Count from Sesame Street, mwa ha ha! 5 timed pomodoros = 5 hours of solid work, and I’m not finished yet!
Today I did 4 pomodoros (4 hours) of homework! I haven’t actually read about what actual pomodoros are, but I’m finding that setting my little red kitchen timer to 60 minutes is working well for me.
I used my little red kitchen timer to get some school work done today. I set the timer for one hour, then took a 15 minute break. I did this three times. I can’t say that I used every minute of those hours to write, but I was definitely sitting in front of my computer thinking about the project at hand. I’m proud of myself!
I bought a cute little kitchen timer, and I’m going to give the “Pomodoro Technique” a try tomorrow in an attempt to get some school work done.
