I’m tired of the negative effects of caffeine. I don’t get it in small amounts because I don’t drink coffee or eat chocolate, so I wind up having a latte or energy drink and the large amount really messes me up for the rest of the day with the large swings of blood sugar, heart palpitations, sweating and increase in body temp making me uncomfortably warm, and lightheadedness. The only reason I go back to having more is because of the great effect on mood and clarity of mind, but I figure I need to find different options for those things (exercise, better sleep, better diet, getting more sun since I may suffer from S.A.D.). Plus, energy drinks and lattes aren’t cheap or lacking in calories!
