go to more concerts

I bought tickets for SOUNDWAVE ‘09 a few weeks ago, and I am already so excited. I am seriously hoping to see hellogoodbye, Jack’s Mannequin, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Billy Talent, Alkaline Trio, Madina Lake, and From First to Last (only cause my friend seriously loves them so I wanna go along :]). I hope I can at least see hellogoodbye and Jack’s Mannequin, ‘cause they’re my favorite bands that are going. It’s gonna be very very very very hot though. Middle of February. So hopefully I don’t pass out :P

And, my one and only mission for SoundWave is to meet Forrest Kline (lead singer of hellogoodbye). I swear if I don’t meet him, I will cry. I love him and I must talk to him, and possibly hump his leg. No I’m kidding, but I must get a photo. I must.

Another gig I’m going to is Kings Of Leon in March. I’m not as excited about this one yet ‘cause I don’t know many of their songs, but what I’ve heard is good, and one of my friends is quite obsessed with them at the moment so yeah, it’s gonna be quite a good night :)

I’m actually more excited about seeing The Academy Is… and Cobra Starship than Panic actually… XD

I’m so excited I could die. I am EXTREMELY excited.

I saw Kisschasy last night.

And The Getaway Plan.

And The Donnas.

And I had the time of my life.

I won’t go into details.

I met the bassist from Kisschasy. We took a picture with him. And he signed my ticket. =)

And we saw the lead singer of Kisschasy. =)

And we saw the guitarist from The Getaway Plan. When I saw him I swear to God I thought I was going to die. I love him.

We lost Chelsea in the mosh. Hahaha.

And the music was absolutely amazing. Everyone was jumping around and sweating and everything was so loud and all the bands played absolutely beautifully and it was just a very very very good night.

I love live music. I really do.

OMFG. I went to the AWESOMEST gig on sunday.

It was TAKE 21, Acid Eyeliner, Finabah and Vinny Kemp (I think that’s his name), and it was an acoustic show at this little place called The Hive in the city next to Kill The Music (a record store of awesomeness) and it was REALLY SUPER DUPER AWESOME.

I wont go into details much, cause then this will go on like a million years, but it was just this room, with a tiny stage at the front and bean bags at the back (I didn’t get to sit on one =P), and everyone was just sitting on the floor, and the bands were just sitting around with everyone and it was just a really nice cozy atmosphere and stuff and OMG Sax off Take 21 sat like DIRECTLY behind my friend Chelsea and it was funny cause he’s really good looking and Chels is the biggest perv (it’s true, Chels, don’t deny it), so she was just casually looking back at him every now and then, and it was quite funny. And OMGGGGG I talked to Chris from Take 21 after the show and it was REALLY AWESOME. Cause he’s really nice and stuff…. ^^

And also, since I haven’t mentioned it, the music was REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD! All the bands did a really good job and they’re all such talented musicians. I think Finabah and Take 21 were my favorites though. Take 21 did a cover of This Heart Attack by Faker, and it was really good. They did a good job covering it.

WELL… It was just really awesome and nice and I might just have to see them again soon. HOPEFULLY.

WOOOOOOOOOI <3 Live Music

Welllll….... I am SO FUCKING EXCITED RIGHT NOW.

Well for one, today this TOTALLY WICKED band came to our school today and played a totally kickass set. They’re called Take 21 and they are pretty damn awesome. I actually got to the gig LATE, ‘cause I forgot it was on, which was sucky. But I didn’t miss all of it, which is good. ANYWAY yeah… after their set they stayed around and I got to meet the lead guitarist and the bassist. My friend got their EP and they all singed it and she got hugs from all of them, which was pretty funny to watch actually because she was all like “can I have a hug?” and all and well it was pretty funny. =D But ANYWAY I got a picture with the lead guitarist (his name is Chris and he’s really cool and nice) and the bassist. And yeah it was really awesome and me and my other friend were totally giddy and fangirly afterwards and my other friends who were not there cause they’re total pooheads got all angry with us. It was fun.

AND SECONDDD…. I am going to THREE GIGS in the next three months. WELL the first one is an acoustic Take 21 gig in the city, which shall be awesome cause I get to see them TWICE. And then I’m going to KISSCHASY in about a month. And THE GETAWAY PLAN are going to be there. I’m actually more excited about The Getaway Plan than Kisschasy cause I’ve already seen TGP once (at MCR) and they were totally awesome and it’s just gonna be KICKASS to see them again. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST I am going to PANIC AT THE DISCO in August. They’re going to be there with THE ACADEMY IS… and COBRA STARSHIP. I am so totally fucking stoked for this one. Because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE all of the bands. And we got really good seats (cause we’re not allowed to mosh) so I am TOTALLY FUCKING STOKED.
