Hopped on the scales today and I’ve lost 700grams (or 1.5lbs). Not a huge loss but a loss nonetheless. I’m happier about the new routines I’ve put into effect, like bringing in healthy lunches (rather than succumbing to the office cafeteria and its lure of french fries) and organising a weekly delivery of organic fruit and veggies, which means I don’t have to food shop as often and can resist temptation!

So far, I’ve lost about 9kgs (just under 20lbs) and still have 20kg (44lbs) to go. I’m trying to cut out all processed foods, which I’m finding really hard but the biggest battle is not reaching for food when I’m upset or sick. I’m walking every day now but am also going to incorporate gymwork (have to book in with a trainer) and pilates into the mix.
