Visit all states on a Greyhound bus

I have visited most of the states over my 72 years, many because I was attending professional meetings. One of my goals now is to get a month long Greyhound bus ticket, locate hostels in the major cities and then see the US systematically in this way. I want to keep a good journal while doing this with good descriptions. I want to be systematic about the writing and accompanying photographs and plan ahead for what kind of scrapbook or even webpage or article I will produce on return.
