They say you shouldn’t even look at a scale when you’re trying to lose weight, but since when have I ever listened to what “they” say? I just want to know so I can get an idea of what is and isn’t working for me. I’d probably just check once in the morning and once before bed—You know, when I’m not wearing anything.
This past week I’ve been really good, I think. I haven’t been exercising quite as vigorously as I had been before, but I also haven’t been eating as much as before. It’s weird—The more I eat, the more I want to eat. Don’t get me wrong: I’m not forcing myself to not eat! It’s just that if I get busy and skip a meal I tend to not even notice until dinner, and even then I just eat the amount of food I normally would eat. Maybe it’s because I’m on my period, but I’m really happy if it’s just something new that I’ve discovered about myself.
Though I do suspect I haven’t lost a thing since I put on a pair of pants today and they felt tight. I’d like to think it’s muscle, but knowing my luck? Fat chance. (Pardon the pun.)
