wear my blue skirt more often

to ‘wear skirts and dresses more, period.’ (which I have been doing)

with leggings also in a Scandinavian design and a statement blue necklace :) It was a really good look, I felt really confident in it and it suited my figure. I’ll definitely be wearing it again sometime. As I mature (weird choice of word…makes me sound like a cheese!), I’m finding myself wanting to wear skirts and dresses more often, I think trousers are really practical but when you wear a skirt you automatically feel more feminine and IMHO, it’s fun!

I have worn a black knee length skirt I own twice recently and a black and cream woollen dress in a Nordic design over leggings :) It feels really liberating to wear something different for a change…

For my holiday that begins this Sat (06/10/12). Here’s hoping we’ll have the weather!

so I’ll probably have chance to wear at least one of them there. I just wish there were more opportunities to wear them at home but we rarely ever have the weather. Nevermind, only 34 days today til our holiday :)

when out with my parents in Cardiff. While I would have preferred to wear it when hanging out with friends, it was still nice to wear a skirt for a change and I think my mum appreciated me dressing up a little more seeing as I was out with her. If only I could have more opportunities this year to wear the 3 skirts I own, they are ^stunning aned it’s really refreshing to wear a skirt instead of jeans for a change :D

although it’s dry, my friend is having her house renovated and so she said to wear ‘clothes that you don’t mind getting dusty.’ As my skirt is one of my favourite items of clothing, its pretty much a no-no :( Will I get to wear one of the 3 before the summer is out? WATCH THIS SPACE lol ^{(does anyone actually care? just typing this out of sheer boredom haha)} Btw, I am looking forward to seeing my friend, house renovation or not!

3 of them, all similar lengths:
I plan to wear one of them (the top left one) tonight,(when we’re celebrating my parents’ 25th wedding anniversary) and tomorrow when I’m meeting with friends. I really wish I had the opportunity to wear these skirts more often, however usually its just too rainy and windy. Here’s hoping tomorrow will be ok!

EDIT: I couldn’t wear my skirt today as it was raining and I had no suitable shoes (grr!) but I wore it out last night. Here’s hoping I get to wear it again before the summer is up…

3 skirts, all of them blue and similar style and length. (I will photograph them tomorrow, I think) Today I wore one of them and felt great :D It’s so nice to be able to wear a summer wardrobe for once, I’m really making the most of this beautiful weather we’re having in the UK. So now I have worn my one skirt twice, and the two others one time each…not loads but here’s hoping the weather lasts so I can wear them :)
