So I have moved to the SW and into a new living space. I have almost completed my new office/study. I have downsized from a 1400 sq. ft. house to a 700 sq. ft. apartment here at my 100+ year old adobe bed and breakfast. I love my apartment – mostly because I love this old adobe. [It feels so good to live in a building made of earth!] While my general living space has downsized, my office/study space is probably a bit larger than my previous office space. Elfa shelving goes on sale at The container Store next Monday, and I am ordering the last bank of shelving to cover every available wall space with shelves. then I will be able to unpack the last of my art supplies and finally finish unpacking. It has only taken me two years!

The remodelling is drawing to a close and some of the clutter and chaos is being sorted out. But my study/office space is still a wreck. I have figured out how to rearrange the room so that it will feel better and also better for workflow with photography, etc. I am going to completely redo the computer/scanner/printer and networking setup – major project and not the sort of thing that brings out my most patient aspects. Just need to bite that proverbial bullet and start in on it.
Spend a lot of time in my office on the computers and have been really bad about letting things pile up lately. Remodelling going on in house and I’ve got boxes everywhere that can’t be put away right now. Still I can clean up the desk area and get the computers, printers, scanners, etc. networked.
