Still eating out 16 months ago

Hm . . . Maybe I should just accept it that I like to eat breakfast out. I live alone and have my own business, so eating breakfast at one of my favorite cafes gives me a shot of socializing – I know the staff and usually see friends. I think it is the social aspect that is the main draw to eating breakfast out.

The problem I have with eating out is that I do not think that restaurant food is as healthy. I buy organic – and that is so not going to happen at any of the safes/etc. in this little town. I should switch over to hanging out at the local coffee house – this is what I used to do most mornings when I first moved here. This place serves the BEST coffee I have had anywhere, hands down, and it is fair trade as well. I can sit and read and/or write. Plus, almost everyone I know in town frequents the place as well. Then a latte is less expensive than a full breakfast, and I could fix myself a healthy breakfast at home. But then I make great espresso at home, too. Maybe I just need to get a social life!

Still not fixing my own breakfast – although I am eating a very nice, as in healthy, breakfast out each day at a local cafe that serves great food. I do find that making breakfast my main meal of the day works best for me, followed by a light lunch and lighter dinner.

Totally not doing this. Still going out to eat breakfast noat evey morning. Feeling guilty about spending the money – it adds up to at least $400/mo.

Cut back on eating out 4 years ago

I’m not one of those people who don’t like to eat breakfast – I love breakfast. But I am very bad about eating breakfast out instead of fixing it at home. I would save a lot of money every month if I made breakfast for myself.
