Learn to use my digital camera well

Okay, I admit I am still doing the point and shoot thing – which is pretty ridiculous with a good digital SLR. The good news is that I am getting aggravated, i a very motivated kind of way, with myself about learning to use my digital SLR. I’ve got a nice, not too pricey Nikon with great lenses. So I’ve decided just his past weekend on a day trip that I am just going to put one lens on my camera and then take photographs until I feel at ease with the lens.

Have started doing my photography again. Have gone on two photography trips out of state – one to the high desert in El Paso in early Dec. 2005, and in the begininng of Feb. 2006 to the Gila National Forest in New Mexico. From the hundreds of photographs there are perhaps ten that I really like and want to do womething with. Still haven’t learned anything about Photoshop CS2 – last time I touched Photoshop it was in my old 4.0 version some ten years ago.
