A couple of months ago I gave money to a “friend” that was in need. The bank had told him (so he told me) that they would take his flat if he did not pay soon. So, without even thinking about it (we where friends and I trusted him), I gave him 1100 euro so that he could pay his bills.
Now months later, he still has not given me back my money. That by itself would not be a problem, if he would not have it. But it seems that he planned other things with his money:
He recently bought a new motorbike and the full equipment for it, booked a vacation in Miami (he lives in Spain) and bought a “cheap” PS3!
It is incredible how some people have the nerve to do this things when they know they have to give you back the money first.
Now I am considering to get a lawyer to persecute him as this is going much to far…
