I get my chance in a couple of weeks when I go out with the Boy Scouts from my church. I was called a few months ago as the “Duty to God” specialist. This entails my tracking their requirements toward the DtG award and on special occasions like the rafting trip coming up to present a motivational message to them.

Now to find the right material for the presentation.

Earlier this year I was at a seminar where Kirk Weisler, www.kirkweisler.com spoke of keeping an insight journal. The idea was that throughout our day we often hear insightful words that we tend to forget. The journal gives a place to record those insights for later use, encouragement, growth, meditation, etc.

Kirk talked about several people getting together after a meeting or seminar to do “Insighter Trading” where they share their insights with one another.
