live the Celestine insights

I just finished this book and didn’t like the story as much as the first book. The concepts also did not seem to resonate with me as much as the first nine. This may be a case of not being ready to recieve the insight, but I’ll wait and see.

I bought the third book, Secret of Shambala and will start it in a few weeks.

There are still strong feelings about the first book that have stuck with me and I hope to be able to continue to focus on them occasionally. I’ve had this feeling that there is a powerful benefits to be had in integrating the religious teachings I have known with some of the insights I learned from the Celestine Prophecy.

After finishing the book “The Celestine Prophecy” I was thinking that I wished I could find my special purpose. Some of you reading may have noticed that this has been one of my 43 things for quite a while.
I had a chance to discuss the book, the insights and my feelings with my boss who suggested that there was another book I should read called, “The Dream Giver”.

What a great suggestion. It should be on the required reading list for anyone who has read the CP. The concept is that there is a dream give who leads all of us to our big dream, our special purpose. The first half of the book is a story about Nobody from the land of Familiar who goes on a quest for his big dream. The second half is directed to anyone who may be struggling to take that first step out of Familiar and away from their comfort zone.

Actually almost finished. I’ve been reading it to my wife in the evenings and we’re on the last chapter.

Something about this book really struck a chord with me. Just before reading it I had come back from a trip to Elko, Nevada and I passed through an area called Lime, Oregon. There was such a strong energy as I drove through there that I commented about it to my wife. She said she felt it too. For several weeks now since that trip we keep thinking and talking about that area.

I know that I’ve experienced quite distinctly the energy flow between people that is mentioned. One of the most heartbreaking is when I see it with a parent sucking the energy from their child. Makes me want to scream out, “STOP!”
