I admit that I read Jackie Collins. She’s a guilty pleasure. I have always loved the Lucky Santangelo series. With the exception of this one. I disliked this book from start to finish. Lucky has been reduced to a minor character, her daughter Max seriously needs an attitude adjustment, Venus became everything I hate in women, and Lennie was practically non-existant. The only thing I actually liked was that Gino was still alive and kicking. If she writes about Lucky’s family again I hope she’ll concentrate on Bobby. He’s the only one of her kids that has his head on straight. That and I’m tired of the random Bonnatti characters that seem to come out of the woodwork. We need some fresh blood.
I’m planning to read either Plain Truth or The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult next.
