Happy Beltane everyone!
This past Saturday I attended a wonderful Beltane Tea! I was a bit nervous to go, only because I have never officially come out to my family and so I still sort of have a tendency to hide my beliefs and practices. But I went anyway, and it was a ton of fun. We had a discussion about Beltane (all about the symbols, the history, what the day is about, etc) and drank lovely cups of tea and then made a huge pot of Beltane incense (all botanical). I’ve been reading about Beltane on my own since then. It’s a beautiful Sabbat. I’d love to hold a handfasting on Beltane one year.

I found this site quite by accident and decided to join. It’s a free service that allows you to enroll in online classes about many different aspects of paganism. The classes are taught by several different people. One has been studying paganism for 10 years, another is a high priestess and others have different backgrounds. I enrolled myself in several courses and am already learning things much faster then I was on my own.

One of my New Year’s resolutions was to be a better pagan. To me that means actually studying and practicing and learning more about the Craft.
Since January 1st, I have started on this path. I have been reading books from my vast collection of pagan tomes, I have joined a pagan message board to ask questions and have just joined Witch Vox in the hopes that I can get to meet other pagans from my area and exchange ideas, and discuss the craft.
Also, I have resumed my “Book of Shadows” which at this time is pretty much an average journal used to jot down my feelings and little tidbits of things I’ve learned and the like.
