I’ve lost 14 lbs in the past 5 weeks I believe? My goal is to lose 2 lbs per week by not eating junk food, having 3 meals and 1 snack per day, and SMALLER portions… oh and walking. I’ve been walking 3-4 times a week, 40-45 mins each time, and enjoying it!

This is in conjunction with Exercise Regularly...
I woke up today, went to the basement, jogged 1.3 miles on our Gazelle, and did 100 crunches on our ABLounge. I feel so great that I got up and did that, that all I wanted to do was jump right in the pool.
I haven’t really been doing good at this lately. The woman who I was going for walks with has had someone in her family pass away and another family member is home from away staying at her house, so when he leaves we’ll be back to walking. But I’ve done the AbLounge a couple times.
I went for a walk three days in a row this week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) Yesterday (thursday) it was raining and yucky out so we didn’t go for a walk, but I think we’re doing very good.
I’m not having any more pain in my legs like I did after the first walk, because I’m getting used to walking for such a long distance… which we figure is about 2 1/2 miles. :)
My mom’s best friend and I went for a walk this afternoon, lasted about an hour… I feel really good that I got out and walked although my right hip is very sore because I’m not used to walking that much
I’ve not been going to Curves like I should… afterall, I’m paying for the membership. I’m going to go three times this week.
On top of that, my mom’s best friend (who practically raised my brother and I) wants to have someone to go for walks with and I keep bugging my mom to go with me but her legs are too sore, so she and I are hopefully going to start walking almost every day… that will be a good boost for me… in energy and motivation.
I’ve been making a conscious effort to stop snacking like I used to, and am doing pretty good. like when I see my brother with a bag of chips, I’ll grab an apple, but sometimes it’s still hard.
I really need to work a bit harder at losing the last of this weight. I want to be cuddly, but not as much as I am… I will never be skinny and I know this, but, alas, I would like to be smaller. Getting back to Curves on a regular basis will help.
I am not doing it for looks, I’m doing it for health.
