my friend told me she admired me the other day.

why?

because i’m content with where i am. i do the best with what i have. and i patiently wait for the rest.

i’m glad that’s how people perceive me bc i try really hard to be that way.

i spent such a long long time wishing i was somewhere else with someone else that i didn’t appreciate anything around me.

are there things i would like to do or change? yes. but i do it when i can and i don’t when i can’t.

it’s taken me a long time to get here.

let me know when you have a night off again.
