this summer?

my running partner really wants to do this and is trying to convince me to join her. her reasoning is that it is good for our marathon training. i’m almost convinced, but worried about bears. are they a problem on this hike? seems like a fun thing to do now that i’ve lost my fear of heights from my skydiving.
