learn to crochet

lately or to watch any more videos. I did find a class sort of near me, and have requested information. I’ve never knitted, and I can only sew a basic hand stitch for buttons and minor tears. The world of fabric and yarn and needles and such is very new to me….but I will learn!

via books and youtube a few months ago. I got three very basic loops down and made a very tiny practice piece. I got a bunch of yarn to keep me going with it (mostly because I fell in love with bamboo yarn and found it on sale.), but I let it go.

I still really want to learn, but have to get myself to pick up the hooks again. Sometimes I get frustrated because I want to be able to do something well with ease (if it’s something I really want to do), and hate when it takes me time-I’m not able to make a blanket fast enough for my liking (haha)!-so I wind up being even slower in learning because I put it away for a while (I have done the same thing with learning to sew).

So I am adding crochet to my to my list. I’d like to set a goal of having a small baby blanket made for my friend’s baby by January. We’ll see…..
