I have (too) many old journal 15 months ago

books around, which I’ve kept for over 10 years. I’m glad about that. But I hate when I peek in them and notice the gaps of time in between writings, or that some are left half empty…

I’ve always wanted to be better at this, because I find journaling therapeutic and fun. It also helps my creative writing juices flow.

Recently I just started typing thoughts into Word. Not the first time I’ve done that, but I kept doing it. And the next day I did it again, and so it became a digital (not online) journal (not a blog)—something I’ve never done (I’ve always loved the art, the practice, the feel of writing with a pen on paper, plus Ive always been an old fashioned modern girl), and I like it. while I’m online, making updates to my 43 things list, checking e-mail, etc, I can open it and jot somehting down for the day. It’s worked well for a few months, with a few short gaps.

But I noticed this week I’ve been lagging. It’s bothering me because I want to update it, but have been procrastinating (I need to add the Stop Procrastinating” goal to my list!).

So here it is, in my 43 things list: write in my journal more, so I don’t slack off even further.
