discover a new author

the amount of reading i did in 2007 was pitiful and i’m ashamed of myself for it. however, i was very pleased with the one author i did discover, so i consider this thing done [by the skin of my teeth].

i picked up confessions of an economic hit man as a book for john and i to read together. i figured it had sociology for me and capitalist crime for him so we could read it aloud in bed together.

one night i picked it up by myself and i just couldn’t put it down. it made me mad, but in that good way. a way that reminded me of all the ways that i want to give back ecologically.

i have the epilogue to go, then i think there i will pick up another book by him. if i find that one to my liking as well, then this thing will be done!
