have a house on the beach

I’ve decided I’m going to save all of my change to put toward this goal. I know that doesn’t sound like much- but its all I manage to really save. I’m trying to get my credit score up too.

I live in Worcester. Its drab and dreary, often with either fridgid weather or grey skys. One summer I managed to break free and fly to L.A. to live for awhile. It was glorious. I managed to find a room share 2 blocks from the ocean. It was a breathe of fresh air: a salty breeze from just over the pier with the sound of gulls taking off in flight. I used to walk everywhere while I was out there, and I still remember the open air farmers market, the lines outside of CPK, and the Saturdays of sidewalk artists. On the rare occasion I had frustration, I used to go and dig my toes into the warm sand and let the ocean lick my wounds as it tickled my feet and I would slowly start sinking as I stared into the horizon pondering and listening to the waves slow churn. I would love to have that, again. A little house on the beach soudns just right to me.
