Made these last night (it was still August!). This was the first time in awhile that I made something from scratch. I didn’t use any pre-made mix, and it was pretty easy. The prep time took maybe 15-20 minutes (I like to take my time) and the bake time was less than 10 minutes. The most time was setting the cookie dough in the fridge for a half hour.
Next month I want to do something different. Maybe combine 2 fruits?

This was made for Independence Day. I tried these last year but they didn’t come out so well (they were tasty but the batter was watered down thanks to a misjudgement). So this year I used fresh strawberries and frozen blueberries (store ran out of fresh ones :|) and added vanilla extract to the batter. I love the look of them. I had 25 cupcakes and by the end of the cookout half of them were gone. Much better reaction compared to last year.

This was for June. I added a shot of Godiva chocolate liquor & Tollhouse milk chocolate chips to some simple brownie mix. The result was loads of chocolate & the brownies not lasting 48 hours.

I actually made this on 5/31 :) It came out okay. First time working with marshmallow fluff. You have to use a heated up knife to cut it but it’s still good.

Since yesterday was the last day in April I finally got around to make a recipe that I’ve been wanting to try for months. If I had followed the recipe by heart it would have been 100% sugar free with no dairy. If fact, I think that they were vegan friendly. One cupcake would have been less than 100 calories. Anyway, they turned out okay, the batter was pretty bland but I substitute the no sugar strawberry preserves for sugar and it seems to balance the taste. Definitely need to tweek the recipe more to be more sweeter without adding sugar

Made them the day before St. Patrick’s Day. The recipe called for lemon chiffon cake mix, 1 egg, vegetable oil, and 3 limes. I also added a tablespoon of lime Real Lemon Lime Juice and several drops of green food coloring, then rolled the batter in some powdered sugar so that the cookies would look cratered. I’m happy with the results, but I feel like these would be better with Vanilla ice cream.

So I didn’t make anything in February. I was going to make Key Lime Cookies but kept getting sidetracked. So I’m going to make them tomorrow for St. Patrick’s Day.

Made this over the weekend as part of my healthy dinner. However I think I’m now addicted to Nutella. That on whole wheat bread = delicious
