I stopped drinking all beverages other than milk, tea, & alcohol on occasion. I’ve bought Mio Water Enhancer if I want some flavor. It also helps that I have easy access to water from the fridge & water cases shipped to the house). Those individual bottles are about 2 cups of water, so I drink 4+ of those bottles a day.
I admit to drinking soda at least 5 times this year, and every time I had some I thought it was gross. It’s super easy to drink 8 glasses/cups of water a day if you cut out everything else. And once you gotten into it drinking all that water it becomes second nature.
