People get offended when others express the desire to remain un-childed but childfree I wish to be. I do not want children in my life. I also have health conditions that require medications that cannot be taken while pregnant and, point-blank, I’m not going to turn myself into an agony-soaked martyr to make other people happy. I would rather work to make other people’s lives better by saving them from food-bourne-illness than by creating another human being.
Other people can bear children: that’s fine by me. I just don’t want to be one of them.
