I went skydiving once, when I was 16. Apparently things have changed since then; we never had to do a first tandem jump, and we jumped the same day (though it was a long day of training). We didn’t pull our own chute; the instructor held it and we let go of the plane (the brace on the wing of a Cessna). I had the opportunity to do a tandem jump a few years later, but a bad back stopped me from going. Now I’d still really like to do it, and I hear from skydiving friends that Skydive Chicago is a great place to go. Now to save up the monies!
I’d also really love to learn to pull my own shute, but that takes way more monies than I have right now.
