OK, slacking a little

They say that you have to do something for 21 days to make it a habit.

I lasted about that long, but took too many odd days off for odd reasons.

To use skateboarding terminology, I just need to be married to the trick. I need to be so devoted to achieving it that I’m not afraid to bowl over other obligations.

Truth is I think I sorta invent obligations just because it’s not a solid habit yet.

It makes me feel so much better.



OK, I'm going

to the YMCA for my first workout in about 20 minutes. Here’s to sticking with it and making a change in my life.



Oh yeah...

...I’m joining the YMCA tomorrow too. That should help.
