first and last time ive ever sung in public lol, on holiday one year sangria got the better of me and I sang this to my daughter, she was eight at the time, she is 22 now and still refers to it as ‘her song from mum’

not so much the words in this song brings back memories, its the na-na-na-na-na-na-na bit.
After a stressful few weeks during the time my marriage was breaking, we were driving down the motorway in silence, this song comes on and my daughter suddenly top of her voice sings the na-na-na-na bit, we all join in and gives us our first smiles and happy family moment we had not had for a long time :) so in an odd roundabout way this song always makes me think of ‘new beginings’

Lord of the dance
This song brings back huge memories from my childhood. Didnt have a very happy one for various reasons, but one thing that sticks in my mind is a dear dear friend of my families called pheobe, she was the most inspiring woman ive ever met in my life and impacted something on me that made me the person I am today, she died when I was 17, but thanks to her help and guidance I remained on the right path in life. This was one of her favourate songs.

Last year I got the all clear to fly and first thing I did was board a plane to canada and have three glorious weeks with my soulmate…. for years ive been saying, one day nik, you just watch one day im going to be able to fly.. that day came in Feb 2006 and on my drive to the airport this song came on the radio
