This is hard. 15 months ago

I am doing pretty good at this, lately when I get angry at my boyfriend I just tell him that I need to be alone, or get off the phone or just leave the room for a minute. Then I take some deep breaths and try to place where my anger is coming from and who it belongs to. A lot of the time it is not about him. Then I try to express my feelings in as calm a fashion as I possibly can, without getting nasty or angry. It is very hard. I am not used to having to hold back.
