update my will

it would have been a disaster if anyone had to use it. This didn’t cause me much stress, but it is nice to have it not be lingering in the back of my mind.

We have to find two notaries in the same spot. I think that this is not going to make me feel any better, be happier, etc., but I added it since it was so strongly recommended in the clean sweep. (Just like the sunglasses)...Hopefully next week we’ll sign.

I should be finished with this stupid little goal in another week or so.

I ordered the softwear to complete this task today. It’s so simple, it should not be difficult to mark this one off. My old will doesn’t even include my son, who is now 16. He wasn’t born yet. I wrote that one when I was involved in a case where this man murdered the child’s mother and we were in a situation involving the custody of the children. That distrubing situation motivated me. Now, it feels like a chore, but it beats some of this other boring stuff I’ve included.

Updating a will sits right up there with catching up with my bookkeeping. So what? I am guessing that if these boring tasks that I procrastinate are complete that they will fade from my worry horizon. I wonder if I’ll ever find out.
