get new glasses/contacts

new contacts in a week or so! Same old same old, my eyes are worse, but slowing down with the worse-erness. I’m developing astigmatism, same as dad. She gave me a prescription which should be easier to see in the dark with, and WOW! Its amazing what you don’t know you can’t see until you see it!

why isn’t this crossed off yet? ‘cause the snowstorm last night cancelled my appointment. Pushed back for 2 weeks. Hopefully nothing else comes up then.

I forgot just how expensive this will be. I have the money saved up, but it’s coming out of my savings. I guess it’ll be new contacts (as thats not an option, after february I’m out), and new lenses, i’ll keep my 4+ year old frames. I’m not sure if the frames have the original lenses or were replaced once. Either way, i know the lenses are 4 years old. I hate being responsible.

and I need to do the annual eye exam thing. Now that I have monthly, rather than 2 week contacts, I’m doing much better with changing them out when I’m supposed to.
My glasses are OLD, like 4 years old, with the prescription to match. I need new lenses in them. I’d like to save money and not get new frames, but I won’t be too upset if I need to do new frames too.
