own a hybrid car

The lease on our Suburban (which my mom drives around town by herself all day) expires soon, and we’re thinking of getting a Tahoe hybrid, or something along those lines. I won’t be getting a new car for at least four years because I’m going to college in the city, where there is no room for a car and my brother will be driving the car I have now (really scary thought…my brother driving? the car might not last long.) So until I’m living on my own, I won’t be able to personally own a hybrid, but at least my mom will be driving one instead of the Suburban.

really need to get rid of my car now…it’s not old (only like 5 years) but it’s got black leather and gets really really hot in the summer during swim practice when it’s sitting in the parkinglot, and it takes premium gas and gets crap gas milage. so if i do get a new car, its going to be a hybrid with not black leather.
