learn to ice skate

I might take up skating lessons in the Summer, when less people are likely to be taking up the rink. I want to go again! :-)

I haven’t been in a while, but I was considering lessons. They’re probably expensive though. There’s a skating show on TV in the UK, and it has encouraged me even more :)

A few weeks ago, the shopping centre near me opened up a small (very small) ice rink. I still haven’t had chance to check it out, although the only people on it are parents trying to not lose grip with their four year old…

I went Ice skating last week, and have since been hooked. I’m terrible at it, but I’d love to be able to spin and twirl and actually skate. You see, my local rink does a disco thing every Friday, so I went and had so much fun. I was in a lot of pain though!
