Visit my family more often

Dan now has a 10 year visa to travel freely between Ireland and America, so the trip is on!

Well, our tentative plans are flying out of Dublin into Boston on October 20th, visitng family around New England for a few days, then flying out of Boston to Milwaukee on October 25 and visiting Wisconsin friends until we fly out of Chicago back to Dublin on November 1. The only hangup we may have is hopefully going to be resolved this coming Monday, when Dan has a meeting at the American Embassy in order to secure a visa. Fingers crossed!

I think that Dan and I are going to take out a loan from the bank and book our vacation for the fall within the next couple of weeks. If we don’t do it that way, we’ll just keep making excuses and putting it off. It’s already been 4 years since I’ve seen my family, and they’ve never even met my husband!! Anyone out there know of any good deals on flights from Ireland to New England in September or October?

I have been so bad at visiting my family in New England. It has been 3 years since I have seen them. I really didn’t have much of an excuse when I was living in WI, but now that I am in Ireland, it is far too expensive to get over for a visit. The plan is to get out there next autumn fingers crossed. Anyone know any cheap deals from Ireland to Boston or Providence?
