get my teeth fixed

When it comes to braces heres the thing… lose weight or food. The 5kg mark… it doesnt matter when ur starving, all you want is food. But then you remember the pain and the annoying motion of only being able to eat with ur right back teeth. By the time you are able to get through half a sandwich when usually… if ur really hungry you could easily smash two… you give up. Why because chewing has never taken so much effort and then you shrug and realise maybe losing weight is inevitable after all!

The braces are finally on and ive got an ulcer already. Apparently you lose weight from the food u cant eat. All this dental hygiene. Not that im complaining but i cant wait till the day i can feel like braces are second nature.

But i guess im a stop closer to ticking this one off. 12- 18 months perfect smile here i come!! :D:D:D

Im so excited!

This is the day i will finally get braces!

It all started from the retainers to fix my overbite in yr 7 but giving up half way because it was widening my gap between my front too teeth and being too painful. Then deciding that i will go through my high school years without braces because i wanted my pictures to be brace-free.

Then going to japan for 10 months i became more conscious about my bite and gap so i decided i would get braces as soon as i got home.

So i booked my appointment, got the x-rays, had my appointment… it all came down to whether or not i would be able to deal with the pain during the HSC… “the most important year of your life”. Since i also needed to get my wisdom teeth out, i decided to postpone it till after completing high school.

Finally, i booked my appointment to see my oral surgeon and got my wisdom teeth out. The pain wasnt that bad at all if any at all… maybe it was the drugs tho. So maybe i was just being a sissy all those years.

Now the wait is over. The mould has been set and now im ready to start thinking of what colours i want for my braces when i get them on!
