I met a bunch of international students at the university residence the other day. It’s really too bad I we can’t understand eachother and a typical response to a question is nodding “uh huh”.

This goal is not going well. I’m back home from first year, and didn’t meet a soul that I felt any wish to keep in touch with. Oh well.
Wow. I’m at university, living in residence, and, somehow, I’ve defied the odds and managed not to make a single new friend this year. It’s not like I’m clinging to my high school friends (I’m out of province), I just have no social skills, and it’s much less stressful to sit at my computer and watch TV.
