I spent a good portion of this morning making my PostSecret postcard. I worded the secret, planned where/how to write it onto the card, arted and personalized the card, addressed it, stamped it . . .
Now all that is left is to mail it. I usually send out-going mail via my home mailbox, but in this case, I feel the need to make a trip to my local post office. It is close enough that I can walk there if I have to.

I was shopping for something entirely unrelated to this goal, and there is was: A postcard perfect to be the base for my secret. It just screamed “Here I am, buy me!”
I’ve ordered it and already planned out the text I want to write on it and a few things I want to do to make it more personal/artsy.
Now it just has to get here.

I’ve done step one: I have two ideas for postcard “secrets” in mind.
Next up: Design. I don’t know yet how I’m going to present the postcards in an interesting/artistic way.
I don’t have any postcards on hand, but that may not matter. Depending on what I come up with for designs, I might make my cards from other materials instead and not need pre-made postcards.
