I’ve been hearing a lot of new music recently, mainly because of new people i’ve met, and new music that they’ve introduced me to :)
I’ve heard more than 43, but can’t remember them all, so these are just a few.

37. Cobra Starship
Heard them on the radio, and like them :)

38. Little Boots
Catchy songs :)

39. Gossip
Beth Ditto can sing! I quite like what i’ve heard of this band :)

4 more bands to go! If anyone has any suggestions, or anything that I ‘must hear’, let me know! Nick was suggesting bands for me the other week, must look into them. :)

Two thumbs down. Not keen on her.

Really good NZ band, like their single very much :)

I really like a few of their songs, but on the most part, it’s not what i’d listen to everyday.

36. The Ting Tings
Heard their whole album recently – wow! I loved it! :) I especially love her accent, such great music for two people!

31. I dug out my Evermore cd’s and throughly listened to them. I really like their latest singles.

I’ve been listening to a lot of music on the radio recently, mainly because my new car didn’t come with a cd player. A lot of the bands I already know, but for some of them i’ve heard more songs, and so have decided to add them as being ‘listened to’.

Heard a few of their albums, and love their new song American Sweetheart

I’ve heard their songs on the radio and really like them.

Listened to her album Good Girl Gone Bad the other day and liked it :)

Heard her when she played as the Dresden Dolls, but now that she’s released a solo CD i’ll add her :)

I brought their CD Oracular Spectacular the other week and can’t stop listening to it. :)

I was cleaning my cupboard yesterday for when I move out, and whilst sorting through CD’s I found an Iggy Pop CD that mum brought me for interest sake awhile back. I like listening to music from a specific time period, it’s like reading a diary from a long time ago. I also read through the sleeve notes and found out that David Bowie was ‘mesmerized’ when he saw Iggy perform, and partially based Ziggy Stardust on him. I didn’t realise this, by they actually worked together a lot, David Bowie helped produce a lot of Iggy’s later music. So now i’ve heard him by himself, i’d like to hear him as Iggy and the Stooges :)

A friend lent me a Paramore cd. I’ve heard a few of their songs on the radio, and I actually really like them :)

I’ve been watching the dvd of The Flight of The Conchords and i’m going to include them because they are also a band, and have released a cd :) I really like their music, so clever and funny. It’s great how they take an artist or genre and so their own version of a song. Like ‘Bowies in Space’ haha I loved it :)

Last year Mum brought me two Clash cd’s, and i’ve really gotten into them this year. So i’m including The Clash, which I love :)
