It looks like I didn’t make a good use of fall veggie and fruit abundance yet. I completely missed tomatoes in Sept, on the other hand there are so many canned tomato available in stores. But I blame myself for plums. I made like 5 jars of plum jams (one of them already have given as a gift), but somehow I think I should have made thrice more than that. Maybe this is not lost yet, I will go to the food market to check whether they still have those plums or not.
Anyway, next on my list are: pumpkins, peppers and pears.

My goal is to have my shelves full of my own home-made preserves. It is a rainy summer, so probably fall will be the same, therefore a lot of days that I can stay home and cook, chop, clean, peel, mix and … sweat;-))))
Two weeks ago I made 2 jars of strawberries jams and last week: two big jars of peach jam, two jars of pear-apple-ginger conserve, one jar of sweet cherry confiture and one jar of pears in a sweet brine. My gosh, by the end of the day I was exhausted. ut one shelf is already half full…
