I finally convinced my father that a) I need a laptop for college and b) Macs are not the scurge of the earth, and in fact pretty freaking awesome.
He’s now combing ebay for a spiffy blacbook. He’s an ebay freak – I keep telling him he’s going to end up buying it from the apple site, but whatev, he’s the one shelling out a solid grand for it.
This means that soon enough, I will have my own gorgous Macbook!! I’m pretty excited. Half of me is hoping he’ll search long enough for Leopard to come out, and then I’ll convince him to buy one with the new version off the site. :)

I have fallen in LOVE with the new line of Macbooks and am looking to get myself one of the basic white ones (1 gig ram being the only upgrade I require!). Gotta start saving now…boo to that. (I love being a poor student. Only when I don’t, like now.)
