do my laundry

Every load is washed, dried, and put away! My hampers are no longer overflowing with clothing and towels. And best of all, tomorrow morning when I open my closet and look for something to wear, all of my favorite things will be there. No more digging through the hamper and wearing dirty clothes! No more wearing my b-list clothes and looking mediocre! I can teach with confidence tomorrow, because I’ll be looking good!

I think dirty laundry is a lot like bunnies because it just seems to multiply. That’s what has happened to me. I’ve done a ton of laundry the last couple of weeks, and my clothes hamper is getting full again, and my towel hamper was beginning to overflow. I countered this trend of multiplicity by washing three loads of laundry tonight. The clothes hamper is still a little on the full side, but it won’t be for long.

Now there are only four loads of laundry sitting on the floor. Not only that, I’ve washed, folded, AND put up everything I’ve done so far. Putting away laundry is always the kicker for me. I’ll let it sit out folded forever. So, all in all, I’m making progress.

I don’t even remember the last time I did my laundry. I thought I would wash more once I had my own washer and dryer, but I really don’t. Well, I’m sick of digging through the dirty laundry to wear my favorite jeans, AGAIN, so I’ve sorted my laundry and I plan to get started on it tomorrow. I must have at least six loads to do. At least I don’t have to schlep it to the laundry room and scrounge for quarters anymore.
