So tired of renting — 1 year ago
I’ve lived on my own for six years in one bedroom apartments of various sizes. I’m tired of renting. The only problem is that I don’t know if I’m in a stable enough finanical position to purchase my own home. I think my dad is willing to cosign on the loan, which will help, but I’m not sure if I can afford the cost and upkeep of a home.
It would be nice though. More space for my cat, an office. My apartment is a nice size for a one bedroom, but I feel like I’m pretty much crammed into two rooms.
Unfortunately, this goal will have to wait a little while. I’m planning to spend a semester abroad next year, so I wouldn’t be able to even look into it for another year. Well, in the meantime, I can dream of larger spaces…
