get a passport

What a suprise, I got home today, checked my mail and there it was—a shiny new passport, just for me! Now I can legally leave the country, which is very exciting. So exciting that I wish I could run off to a foreign land right now, but I can’t. I have to wait til January, when my passport will recieve its stamp from the United Kingdom. At least I have definite international travel plans. Yay! Happy day!

In approximately six weeks I’ll be the proud owner of a shiny new passport!

I was all fired up to go get my passport tomorrow until I remembered that I only had one copy of my birth certificate. Instead, I’ll be sending a check off to order a couple of copies tomorrow. At the very least, my application is all ready. When those birth certificates come in, I’ll be on my way to the courthouse.

if only I had the money. However, my goal is to get it by the end of the summer.
